Hi, i need to count for each person reported in a sheet the number of their presences in a specific location included in another closed workbooks, in a range of a month.
Here I list some features of the excel files:
  1. I've two kind of files, the first group represents the specific day of the month and contains a list of people in a determined locations, the second file contains a table that has as rows the name of each person and as columns single locations, grouped monthly;
  2. the daily excel file is named using a specific data format (dd-mm-yyyy).
my issue is how to create a Countif funcion in order to discriminate the mount "-mm-" parameter when selecting each excel file.
Thanks for attention.
