count if when cell contains the condition

Hi guys

Basically i have this formula

=COUNTIF('Sheet1'!C4:L14,Sheet2!AP41)

how to get excel to count it if cells in the C4:L14 contain the AP41?

i.e. AP41=Tom

I want it to count it even if the cell within C4:L14 is =Tom Baker or
=Little Tom or =Tomas etc
