I have a 15000 list of tel numbers in column a, with corresponding email addresses in the column b, there are duplicate e-mail addresses in the column.

I want to identify ie count the multiple e-mail addresses, there are too many to pivot, any ideas?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Try using countif
=COUNTIF(B1:B1500,B1)

then you can sort this column ans see all duplicate entries

cheers that works fine, however I would like to summarise the count of multiples against a single instance, in much the same way as a pivot.
