And data I required should populate in
Demo4.xls
ABCDE
4FromDateToDateTicketsAssignedClosedWIP
508-Oct-0514-Oct-05
615-Oct-0521-Oct-05
722-Oct-0528-Oct-05
Stats

In second excel from date and to date contains the dates and under Ticket Assigned I should get count from excel 1 (Col Assign_time) count of ticket between those two dates. Kindly suggest.

Just change the = signs to <> signs in the last 2 arguments.

Edit:

You will also have to change the sign between the last 2 arguments to * again since you are now performing and AND not an OR.

Excel Facts

Excel motto
Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
if we put as <> for its adding twice .

eg +SUMPRODUCT((a>=A5)*(a<=B5+1)*((racfid<>"fz541")+(racfid<>"gf446")))

In above formula )*((racfid<>"fz541")+(racfid<>"gf446") is able to find result 10 + 10 and giving result 20

it should give resullt as 10
