I have a pivot table with numbers in column A and blanks below. I was trying to write a countif formula but I am not able to pick up the blanks. e.g. =COUNTIF(A:A,"213B")

Sample data:

Column A Column B
123 123-0692
456 456-0274
456-0275
456-0276
654 654-0301
213B 213B-2045
213B-2046

So my answer should be 2 but all I can get for an answer is 1.

Thank you in advance!

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
The column data got messed up, this might make more sense.

Column A Column B
123 123-0692
456 456-0274
(blank) 456-0275
(blank) 456-0276
654 654-0301
213B 213B-2045
(blank) 213B-2046
