I have a range of that contain formula. I would like to count the number of occurences of part of the formula in all the cells. Is this possible?

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
I tried, but that didn't work. I'm trying to count the number of times part of a cell is referenced. i.e. g585 -> I want to count only 585

Oh I understand now. If 585 is in a cell more than once do you want that counted as multiple occurences?
