Who can help me to the following sollution.

I have a tabel with several text items in a collumn. A lot of them duplicating.

In a pivottable I want to count how many different text items the are.

F.i: 200 lines with text of which there are only 15 different text items.
With "count" this gaves me now 200 i.s.o. 15.

Thanx for reacting.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Forget making PT to count unique items. Try instead:

=SUMPRODUCT(NameEange<>"")/COUINTIF(NameRange,NameRnge&""))
