Count posts monthly

Hi, could someone help me how to solve on how to count posts monthly?

Once a month i collect data from 6 months back from a database.
It uses todays date and gets me data 6 months back and puts it in
a table like below.

Then i want to count number of workorders per month, which i really dont know how to do.
The result should be like, January=45, Februari = 62 etc
Also, i would like to count number of entries in failurercode=10 in the current month.

Could someone please give me a tip on how to do this?

i have used a pivot table and also added a new column in the data -

New Function in new column
=If( FailureCode column =10, 1 ,0)

And then used a pivot table - which should give you

A pivot table should be simple to create and setup

Otherwise you could use functions for each of your conditions
setting up the months to report on

I have made up some data quickly - as it takes time to copy an image
Can you use XL2BB to post a sample here -
you image is only showing a few days of data for feb
can you provide a representative sample of months
