Hi All,

I have a complaint database and need to count/sum various criteria for reporting. To get what I need unqiue values need to be considered and I also want to look at the top 3 results rather than just the top results. I have developed some suitable methods using pivotables etc. but was hoping the community could tell me if I could complete the same tasks using formulas/functions/arrays.

The example and description of what is required can be downloaded from the following link.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated!

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
I would think the way you're doing it now with PivotTables is one of the most effective methods.

An easy way to see the top values is to use the "Large" function. That doesn't get you to the unique values.
