Hello everyone,
I’m very impressed with everyone’s expertise on this Forum and I’m confident that someone here can help me.
I have a spread sheet that is linked to others, the links works fine. My problem is that I have to do manual editing to complete the update I require.
In this spread sheet the values I’m retrieving are alphanumeric. They are actually the letter “X” which serves as a cell check signifying the acceptance for the associated cell.
My problem is that when the sheet links it also brings in the Zeros that represent a null entry for some cells. I need to sum all the “X’s” with a “Counta Formula” but the Counta Formula also counts the Zeros.
Example...
=COUNTA(C11:C27)
I need to add all cells that have the “X’s” that are brought in thru the link. How do I make Excel ignore the Zero’s??? (Null Values)
Please Help
