countaif on a pivot table

Hi All -

From a table of cities by state, I have run a pivot table that lists the unique destinations by state. Is there a way to now get a count of those destinations by state with some type of formula like "countaif"?

What if you drag the field of city names in as a data field? So, once as a row field, and a second time as a data field.

If not, can you post some sample data to clarify the requirement?
