Hi everybody,
I have constructed a spreadsheet of my finances. I have a loan that will be paid off in 3.5 years (displayed in cell as 3.5). This figure is derived from total owed divided by monthly payments, divided by the 12 months.
The question is, as the 3.5 figure is derived from a formula itself (i.e. =D17/150/12), how can I show this as "3 Years 6 Months"? This can be shown in a different cell, that's not a problem, and in as many stages as possible.
I've tried using the DATEDIF function with no success.
Any help you could give me would be great.
Thanks!

P.S. The loan is interest free, saving a lot of hassle with the above formula!
