I think I may have posted this question in the wrong section yesterday:

Hello,

I have a column with an ID number in PowerPivot. Each ID can occur more than once in the column. I would like to have a second column that has a 1 next to the first occurrence of each ID. I would like to place a 0 next to any subsequent occurrences of the same ID. The sum of this column will essentially be what is attained through a DISTINCTCOUNT of the ID column. However, I need the table to formatted as explained.

Any Help is appreciated.

Example

ID Counter
xxx 1
xyx 1
xxx 0
yxy 1
yxx 1
yxy 0
