Countif (advanced)

Hi
In column A I have eg company names eg reads Smith, Brown, Jones etc
In column B I have eg products company does so eg Smith could do product 1 and product 2 etc

I would like the count formula to "countif" eg

Count number of instances of "Smith Product 1" from columns A and B

Sorry can't remember how to do this
