Working in two sheets in one workbook, looking for unique records.

I've got the conditional formatting almost working. Have been able to format some data, but not sure if it's right.

Need to figure out if my formula =COUNTIF(mydataname should end in A1>0 or $A2

(I've tried another forum, but folks there did not know.)

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Hi,

Your description is quite cryptic. Please give more details, and optimally post an example of your data and expected outcome. It is best if you use XL2BB for this purpose.

The data and workbook are very straightforward.
For purposes of illustration, let's say the first sheet includes the numbers 1-10 sequentially, one number each in the first 10 rows of column A.
I.E. Row one has the number 1, row two has the number 2, etc.
The second sheet has the numbers 5-15, starting with the number 5 in row 1, 6 in row 2, etc.

The task is to identify numbers which appear in sheet one, but which do not appear in sheet 2
Need to figure out if my formula =COUNTIF(mySheet1datacolumnName, should end in A1>0 or $A2

I got the best results with =Countif(CC_data1,$A2) this seems to identify some, but not all dupes or uniques

(Previous attempt was with vlookup, it was unsuccessful, not active, and now moot.)

Previous inquiry pertained to vlookup, and is not germane to my Countif question. Countif seems to simplify the focus.

It is not for you to decide what is & what is not relevant.
