Countif forrmula

Hello

I am currently using this forumla

=SUM(COUNTIF(C5:AG5,"P"),COUNTIF(C5:AG5,"H"),((COUNTIF(C5:AG5,"S"))))

I need to change the formula to when it add the H it only counts it as .5 not 1

Any help would be greatly apprecaited

Try it with sumproduct.

=SUMPRODUCT((C5:AG5="P")+((C5:AG5="H")/2)+(C5:AG5="S"))

perfect nice easy one shoudl have thought of that
