Countif function.

Column C4:C41 contain age in round number in numerical format
Column D4:D41 contain text like Boy or Girl

Helper Cell in G2 contain age say ">="12
Helper Cell in G3 contain age say "<="14
Helper Cell in G5 contain Boy.

My requirement: Number of boys in the age group >=12 and <=14.

1. Kindly advise formula and also 2. What to enter in Cells G2 and G3?
(say in G2 12 or >=12)
