Countif function

ive been using the countif function for a sales and stock take table. Ive been using it to count how many sales have been made of different products. For this i have a separate quantity column is there anyway of including the quantity in the formula because its counting each item as one but some are more. If not is there something else i could use? please can u get back 2 me asap thanx

Try,

=SUMIF(ProductRange,"Product",QuantityRange)
