Good Morning,

I have the below Formula that's not working for me

=countif('AI Extension',"D 2:D5000"=AIM"*'AI Extension', "I2:I5000"=Approved)

I need to count if the Sheet Named "AI Extension" Column D has the words "AIM" and Sheet Named "AI Extension" Column I has the words "Approved"

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
How about
=countif('AI Extension'!D2:D5000,"*AIM*",'AI Extension'!I2:I5000,"Approved")

So I corrected it to ad Countifs and it works the only problem is that I have AIM and AIM 2020 and is counting the AIM 2020 as well and I need it to count only the AIM

In that case remove the asterix from the formula
