Countif

Hi,

I want to count how many A, B & C grades a subject got. I'm using =COUNTIF(C2:C96,"A") but how do I get it to count A, B & Cs?

Try

=SUM(COUNTIF(C2:C96,{"A","B","C"}))

=SUM(COUNTIF(C2:C96,{"A","B","C"}))

Either of these -

=COUNTIF(C2:C96,"A")+COUNTIF(C2:C96,"B")+COUNTIF(C2:C96,"C")

=SUM(COUNTIF(C2:C96,{"A","B","C"}))
