Hi all,

I need a count of all the cells in A2:A10001 where the last digit is 1.

I've tried constructing the countif myself but to no joy can anyone help with this please, preferably without the use of hidden columns or anything, I can achieve the result that way myself but would prefer to do it in a single cell formulae

thanks

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Are the values integers? If so try using MOD function in SUMPRODUCT like this

SUMPRODUCT((MOD(A2:A10001,10)=1)+0)
