Hi all,

could someone shed some light on why my formula will not work, please?

=COUNTIFS('O Code Delays'!$N$6:$N$1689,'Dashboard Feeder'!A3,Table5[Auto fill Year],"2019/20")

the '2019/20' is stored as text but is derived ultimately from a lookup of a date value if this helps?

Hi Dantheram,

The Excel documentation says "Important: Each additional range must have the same number of rows and columns as the criteria_range1 argument. The ranges do not have to be adjacent to each other." so unless the the Table5[Auto fill year] has the same number of rows as $N$6:$N$1689, which is 1,684, then your formula will return a #VALUE error.
