I am trying to find CCM in "C" then check against today's date and check if any dates in "G" are in the next 7 seven days, it should return zero but returns 2 which are the two dates less than today's date.

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
If you want just the ones in the next 7 days you need to exclude the ones before today as well:

Excel Formula:
=COUNTIFS(C2:C1501,E2,G2:G1501,"<="&TODAY()+7,G2:G1501,">"&TODAY())
