Hi all,

Can anyone please look at the formula below and explain what's wrong with it?

=COUNTIFS(("'"&month&"'!FTBRep"), A8,("'"&month&"'!FTBData"), "Yes")

month is a cell (named range) which is the sheet name.
FTBRep/FTBData are named ranges i'd like to test the criteria against.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
You need INDIRECT function, try

=COUNTIFS(INDIRECT("'"&month&"'!FTBRep"),A8,INDIRECT("'"&month&"'!FTBData"),"Yes")
