My spreadsheet is an on-site catering database. In this spreadsheet I have the date of the meeting, the vendor/vendors that are used for the particular meeting, these meeting maybe a breakfast, lunch, or dinner meeting and there may be multiple vendors per meeting. For example I have 2 columns for breakfast, 2 for lunch and 2 for dinner. What I would like is to create a formula that would count the number of times I have used vendor A in Jan, then in Feb, and so on.

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Please provide output for single vendor multiple meetings and mulitple vendrs per meeting so we have some idea of the layout (not saying I will solve this).
