Hello.

I am building a spreadsheet that will contain at least one tab with Raw Data. The data here tells me when a case was opened/closed and who the case owner (user id) was. On another tab I want to run a daily/weekly/monthly report on these data, based on the user id. The date field is given in dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm (which will screw any pivot table with too many date fields).

On the other tab I will have all user id's listed in A1, A2.., and dates in B1, C1.. Here I need to count how many cases was closed by an agent on a given date.

Any suggestions how to do it?

Thanks!!

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hi,

If I understand this correct,

Create an aditional column with the formula =INT(A1). This will give you dates only. Then you should be able to fit it all into a pivot table.
