Hi,

I have a list of products and want to list them in a 'Top 40' if you like of how many times they appear in the list.

Is this a simple thing to do? There are a lot of product numbers

Like this would be great
===============
1) 12345 x 245
2) 54321 x 124
3) 01010 x 121
4) 20202 x 10

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Suppose you have product number list in column A and and cell B1 = 12345 (just an example) then

=B1 & " x " & COUNTIF(A:A,B1)
