Crazily long and complex formula

Hi Folks,

I'm playing with a spreadsheet with past horse racing results, trying to find a way of staking that I like. The problem comes with my stepped staking idea. The formula (as in cell AB7)works as it is but I'm sure it could be done a better way (with the cells referring to a table maybe so I can play around with thresholds and percentages?)

Any help appreciated.

That's a lot easier to see what's going on. I'll give it a whirl tomorrow. In the longer term, I'm going to try and get it to take the info from a table using a " a User defined function in Excel (similar to an Excel Macro) that takes your bank level as input & outputs the appropriate stake". This is a suggestion made to me by the author of the spreadsheet in its original form.

In the meantime though, that's going to make playing around with it a breeze.
