Hi,

What im after doing is the following.....

I have a list of stock that we keep onsite to make up kits for a client (cake making kits)

So i have a list of stock eg -
Cones - 40
Twigs - 50
Cake Mix - 10
Cocoa Powder - 15
Dried Fruit - 20

And so on....

So when we have an order for maybe 3 x xmas cakes packs i would like it to take 3 off the totals of anything in the stock list thats used to make a xmas cake pack

What my easiest funtion to do this and does anyone have any experiance with anything similar?

Any templates or advice woud be great

Welcome to Mr. Excel.

How does one know (for a formula) what items make up what packs?
I can create tabs (which i'll hide) which will show the ingredients unless you can think of a better way to handle it?

Thanks

Hi Thanks for your reply.

Please see 2 screenshots, 1 showing the main stock list which i'd like to deduct from, and the other showing how a "kit" may look.

Does this help?

Somewhat. If you use XL2BB anyone helping you could copy the data into a sheet rather than trying to recreate what you have. Thanks.
