Hi all,

Can anyone please help with the VBA to create a new workbook for each unique value in column A of a workbook? E.g. if column A is:

Variable
Ball
Dog
Cat

Then new workbooks are created for the 3 values below the header row? The number of values may be variable,

Many thanks in advance for any help,

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Try this Human
Code:
Sub Test()
Dim LR As Long, cell As Range, wb As Workbook
LR = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
For Each cell In Range("A2:A" & LR)
    Workbooks.Add
    Set wb = ActiveWorkbook
    wb.SaveAs Filename:="C:\" & cell.Value & ".xlsx"
Next cell
End Sub
