Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Use the keyboard command ALT+D P to open the PT Wizard which allows multiple consolidation ranges (source ranges) for a PT.

This is VBA code for same, but it must be modified to fit your needs. Use the macro recorder to record the above statement for your workbook and edit it as necessary):
Code:
Sub CreatePTFromMultipleDynamicNamedRangs()
    'Create PivotTable from multiple ranges (PT Wizard - Keyboard combo ALT+D P)
    ActiveWorkbook.PivotCaches.Create(SourceType:=xlConsolidation, SourceData:= _
        Array(Array("source1", "Item1"), Array("source2", "Item2")), Version _
        :=xlPivotTableVersion14).CreatePivotTable TableDestination:="", TableName _
        :="PT_" & ActiveSheet.Name, DefaultVersion:=xlPivotTableVersion14
    ActiveSheet.PivotTableWizard TableDestination:=ActiveSheet.Cells(3, 1)
    ActiveSheet.Cells(3, 1).Select
    ActiveSheet.PivotTables(1).DataPivotField.PivotItems( _
        "Count of Value").Position = 1
    ActiveSheet.PivotTables(1).Name = "PT_" & ActiveSheet.Name

End Sub

All I can think of is import both tables and edit the headers to match. The run the PT from them. I don't know of another way.
