Ok so i created a splash screen using very simple VBA Code and i save it as an Add In and loaded it into my Excel to run whenver i opened it.

Now the problem is that when i click on a file to open it Excel opens and runs my Add In but it stops right there. The sheet i tried to open does not open. I can open it under file or click it again once excel is open but i dont want to have to do that is there anyway i can get around this?

the code is as follows

ThisWorkbook
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
UserForm1.Show
End Sub

UserForm1
Private Sub UserForm_Activate()
Application.OnTime Now + TimeValue("00:00:02"), "KillTheForm"
End Sub

Module1
Private Sub KillTheForm()
Unload UserForm1
End Sub
