Trying to creating a drop down menu in each cell going down column A that allows you to pick from multiple options.

Tried using Form toolbar, combo box but I can't get it to be linked to a specific cell. I'm using excel 2000.

Anyone have any ideas?

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Create the list in a column somewhere in your spreadsheet.
Highlight the area that you want the list to be applied to eg Col A
Select Data-Validation, Settings, Allow-List, then select the cells where your list is.
