The sheets that are involved in the question are all in the same workbook.
On a sheet named Inputs, the C3 cell can be changed to Field 1, Field 2, Field 3, etc. (there are several fields to select from)
On that same sheet, there are boxes in H12 and H13 where the answers need to be returned.
On each of the Field sheets that are al named Field 1, Field 2, etc. columns V and W have numbers on several rows (the number of rows with numbers will change as entries are made into the program). After the number resulting from the program entries, the rows will exhibit #N/A.
When a Field number is selected in C3 of the Inputs sheet, the number in column V of the sheet with the same name is returned to H12 of the Inputs sheet. The number to be captured is in the row immediately above the first row with #N/A.
Also,
When a Field number is selected in C3 of the Inputs sheet, the number in column W of the sheet with the same name is returned to H13 of the Inputs sheet. The number to be captured is in the row immediately above the first row with #N/A.
I am fine with this being done either with a macro or by formula. Thank you in advance for your help.
