I have an excel file with way too many data points in it and I would like to only keep every 50th row. How would I create an excel macro that will delete all rows except every 50th row? For example, deleting all rows which row numbers are not divisible by 50?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Try

Code:
Sub aDel()
Dim LR As Long, i As Long
LR = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
For i = LR To 1 Step -1
    If i Mod 50 <> 0 Then Rows(i).Delete
Next i
End Sub
