I am creating a heat map based on employee performance. I am having trouble getting the formula to give me the return I want.
What I am looking for is this: If accounts placed in August are 20% more than the accounts placed in July, = "p". If accounts placed in August are less than 20% than July,= "q". Anything in between would = "n".
Thanks for any help!!

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
=lookup(august/july, {0,80,120}%, {"q","n","p"})

As constructed, it looks up the ratio of the August sales to July sales in the first vector, and then returns the value in the corresponding position in the second vector.

No, july and august would be replaced by references to the cells where those numbers appear.
