I have been tasked with creating a dashboard for quarterly board meetings which will include a large number of performance measures and possibly some graphs (either standard excel or sparklines). I created a template for the dashboard in publisher to begin with and tried to copy in the measures/figures from a scorecard created in Excel but this made the text very pixelated and hard to read (even though I tried all the different paste options).

I’ve never created a dashboard before so I am looking for advice on the best MS Office program to do this with and ways of making it automated?.

The performance measures and figures are stored in a scorecard created in excel so I need the dashboard to be compatible with that. There are 40+ measures so its also a challenge getting it to fit on an A3 landscape template whilst also being readable.

I am proficient in Excel and know how to record macros but have no experience of writing VBA code.

Thanks

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Welcome to the Board!

Your best bet is to use Excel; with PivotTables/Charts and the addition of Slicers & Timelines, you have some fantastic tools at your disposal. Check out: Excel Dashboard Course (MrExcel highly recommends it).
