I am trying to create a pivot table from two separate table columns on two separate worksheets in the same workbook. After I use Alt D, P, then complete the process, I get an error message that says I need to select two rows. Can anyone help with this?

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

Hi and Welcome to MrExcel,

You can't directly use non-contiguous ranges as a data source for PivotTables.

Alternatives include:
1. Combine the two table columns into a contiguous range on a worksheet using formulas.

2. Use a query to join the two columns and use the result of the query as the PivotTable's data source.
