Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.

Make sure the formula refers to the date 18/07/2011 and the period 60.
If you are using the above example of =A1 + B1 then your date and period should be in A1 and B1.

If your headings are in row 1 and your data starts in row 2 then amend formula to =A2 + B2

In other words if A1 contains 'Receipt' and B1 contains 'credit' then formula in C2 =A1+B1 will return #VALUE! but C2 = A2+B2 will return 13/03/2011.

Yes the formula is refers to the date 18/07/2011 A1 and the period 60 B1 and result am expecting in C1 with calculation =A1+B1, but giving same error #VALUE!

I'm sorry to say but I'm running out of ideas here. You may want to look at the formatting styles of your cells in columns A,B,C.
THe other thing you could try is create a new workbook and add just one sample to see if that solves the #value issue.
