Cricket bating average per season

Hi. Is there someone who can assist me please. I need to draw up a worksheet to calculate a cricket players batting average over a season. It sound easy enough untill you start. If any one out there can help me please respond. I started a couple of times but at this stage i am more confused than anything else. I am not to clued up with Excel. If possible please send a example to my e-mail. Thnks
