Hello team!

I have a massive list of equipment that is broken down into several areas. In column "A" are areas, column "B" has the equipment code and in column "C" are the quantities of that piece of equipment. I'm trying to sum the values in column "C" IF the equal a specific equipment code in column "B". I can't seem to find the correct syntax for "IF" column B = xyz, then sum what's in column "C".

Any suggestions?

Many thanks!

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hmmm.... typed it in exactly, and got a result of - 0 -. which is an improvement since I was getting the dreaded N/A result! Thanks, can you suggest a refinement?
