Hi,

I am using Excel 2003 and I have a spreadsheet with about 1200 different unique reference numbers on it (all in one column). I need to cross reference these numbers against several worksheets to see whether or not they appear in them so that I can remove them. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Mark

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
the first spreadsheet has only 4 columns

The other worksheets are all laid out exactly the same as each other, they just have different daya in them.

To explain a little more (in case it helps) I the first spreadsheet has a list of 1200 retailers (identified by a retailer number which is what I am trying to cross reference )that have had some stuff done in their stores.
The other lists are a breakdown of about 9000 retailers in multiple territories but the 1200 stores already mentioned in the first worksheet will be split across these other multiple worksheets, I need to remove them to stop

Does that help and can anything be done?
