CTRL + ALT + ____ Not working

Hello,

I have found that CTRL + ALT + Down Arrow does nothing anymore. + Right arrow takes me about out to the right, but to a row with no text rather than an end point (a cell with text).

I wrote a macro accessible by CTRL + ALT + C. This is not working either. Scroll lock is not an issue with the first combinations.

Any ideas? This is a reeeeal drag.

Thanks!

Hi,

Have you tried plugging in a different keyboard?

I had a similar problem a while ago and whacking the keyboard on the desk cured it although I wouldn't necessarily suggest that approach as a solution.

Was there ever anything in these cells? Were these cells ever formatted?

Try saving the file and trying again. Sometimes, old endpoints are "remembered" until the file is re-saved.

Thanks for the replies. I can not change keyboards. Mine is an Ergonomic DVORTY board (a hardware solution to typing in Dvorak).

I did try opening a new file. CTRL + SHIFT + Down arrow just doesn't work. I have a call into tech support where I work, but this isn't the kind of thing they do, unless they can push a clean version of Excel to my machine.

Thanks again all!

Rman.
