Ctrl+Shift+1 - number format but with no decimal points

When I press Ctrl+Shift+1 it formats the number cells selected with a 1000 seperator and two decimal points. How can I change it so that this key combination shows no decimal points?

Also - can I create new keyboard shortcuts like this in Excel?

Not that I know of.
Also - can I create new keyboard shortcuts like this in Excel?

You could record a macro, applying a keyboard shortcut combination to it.
