I can see different situations which could occur
1. change values once and for all without the need to store exchangerates
2. table with both currencies next to each other
3. ability to switch currencies permanently (values stay in same cells)
yes, it is
I've done this for a large workbook using formulas
of course this makes the whole thing heavier
you could also use a macro to change the actual values each time
it would be good to tell us more about your workbooklayout ...
to my sense a few rows and columns will be enough to be relevant
