I am formatting a spreadsheet and want one column to have an effective date and another column to have this date plus three months

So if the firt column entered is September 15, 2005...the next column will populate with December 15, 2005

Is there a way to do this in Excel?

Please help

Thanks

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

Will this work (or another function) if I reference the initial ceel with the date required

I have tried EDATE and EOMONTH but with little success.

That's what I have been trying but I keep getting the error: #NAME?
