Custom controls disappear when user opens file

Hi All

A cursory search of the web has not provided any answers so I thought I'd turn to the group for a quick answer.

I have a customised invoice template containing large amounts of VBA code as well as several custom controls e.g. command buttons. I have distributed this template to about 8 users, 6 of which have used the template without a single problem. However, when the other 2 users open the file, the command buttons seem to have disappeared! What I find strange is that both of these users used previous versions of the template (which had only minor differences in terms of command buttons) without a problem. I have tried to determine whether it could be the Excel version that they are using but both use the same version of Excel as I do (2003).

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hi

If you mean whether the sheet is in design mode when I open it no its not. Toggling design mode on/off makes no difference.

Or if you mean that I perhaps sent the worksheet in design mode, that could be possible.

Thanks for the response!
