In my job, i download a spreadsheet and need to click on 10-12 names hourly to ensure production is met. Anyways, the point is does anyone know how i can get a quicker way to filter out the names only without going to the data filter and scrolling needlessly thru the 600 names (listed alphabetically at least) every hour and putting the check box next to their name?

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
I need the person's name, which could be listed in 20 rows and pull that data in a separate worksheet along with the adjacent data in the rows. My spreadsheet has columns a-j needed to pull. Plus i don't know how to do a macro. Any suggestions? I guess i need someone to create a macro for me

a macro would find a particular name and enter what you want in the adjacent cell
