I would like to create a custom number format that would add a "+" to all postive numbers, a "-" to negative numbers and neither sign to a "0" value.

Is this possible?

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Thanks. I could have sworn I tried that and it didn't work... but now I realized I did: +0;0;-0

Thanks for the help.

If you don't want a set number of decimal points, you could also do:

+General;-General;0
