I have to do a sheet with sports results. In the sheet I have to enter values such as:
- 3’50” , 4’55”, 5’60” and so on.

I was wondering if there is a way to use custom number format feature so as I could type only the figures not the characters (single or double aphostrofe). In this way I would save pretious time.

Use this custom format:

0"'"00"''"

Type in 350 and it will format it the way you want.

Just be aware that the actual value will be 350 so that could impact any math you plan on doing.
